Information for past graduates

Past grads may walk in a future ceremony

Things happen. Travel plans get cancelled. Visas take time. Lots of life events can change your graduation plans!

Do not fear. Fulton Schools students have up to two (2) years to participate in a Convocation ceremony after their planned graduation date.

Special case: 2020 and Spring 2021 Graduates

If you are a student who graduated in 2020 or Spring of 2021 (when we had online-only Convocation ceremonies) and you have not yet participated in a ceremony, you may request to participate in any future ceremony.

Once you have “walked” (physically participated) in a ceremony, you may not participate in another.

How past grads can participate in Fall 2024

Arrive at your Convocation ceremony at the very beginning of check-in (1 hour before your ceremony begins). Bring the following:

  • A picture of your diploma, or
  • A screenshot of MyASU showing you applied to graduate, or
  • The receipt you received when you applied to graduate.

With these items you will be permitted to participate in your Convocation ceremony.

Check your asu.edu email

ASU and the Fulton Schools will use your asu.edu email address for all graduation and Convocation communications.
